The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics was established in Karachi in 1957 and was granted the status of an independent research institute by the Government of Pakistan in 1964.

How to Apply
The process of applying for admission will begin by filling out the registration form. The link will be available on the official website as well as at the bottom of this page. After clicking on it students will create an account. A downloadable form will also be provided on this page. Students who face difficulty in filling out the online registration will download the form. The admission fee along with the challan form will be Rs.2000.
